Finals Schedule for the week of Dec. 13th: Monday: 7th period Final from 2:50 - 4:05; Students released at 4:05 Tuesday: Finals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Periods - Early Dismissal at 12:20 Wednesday: Finals for 4th, 5th, and 6th Periods - Early Dismissal at 12:20 Thursday: Make-up Finals Day - Teachers will schedule any make-up finals with students.

School Physicals will be in the New Gym on Tuesday, July 27th starting at 9:30. A text message went out to students and parents reminding them of their appointment times from the Student Based Health Center in Ruidoso. They are the providers performing the physicals, but they will be taking place in the New Gym, not Ruidoso.

Carrizozo Schools is putting out a Request For Proposal (RFP) for Contracted School Bus Transportation. All interested vendors can stop by the superintendent’s office located at 800 D Ave, Carrizozo, NM 88301 to pick up a proposal. The superintendent will also be available to answer questions regarding the proposal. The superintendent will also be available by telephone 575-740-1002 or by e-mail at cody.patterson@carrizozogrizzlies.org to answer questions you may have. Proposals are due by 3:00 on July 12, 2021.

The PED has received the final guidance from USDA FNS regarding issuing P-EBT for the months of April and May. P-EBT benefits will only be issued to Schools and Districts that remained fully remote for these months. We also received additional guidance that states may be able to issue P-EBT benefits for the days that free and reduced students are on summer break.

If your child/children have not turned in their electronic devices (Chromebooks, iPads, and hotspots) please do so as soon as possible. The office is open from 8:00 - 3:00, Monday - Thursday. If nobody is in the office, take them to the Admin building.

The Student Based Health Center (SBHC) will be conducting Sports Physicals on July 27th starting at 9:30 a.m. in the New gym. Students or parents will need to call the clinic to schedule a time for their physical. They can call the clinic at 575-630-7974 to schedule. Office hours are Tuesday and Thursday 8-4.
